Type: office reception & lobby interior

Location: Moscow, Russia
Area: 360 m2
Year: 2024

Interior design of the main lobby of an office building in New Moscow. The lobby showcases a complex geometry, with the section adjacent to the main facade featuring a double-height space. This defining architectural feature not only floods the interior with natural light but also visually extends its boundaries, creating a seamless connection between the interior and the surrounding environment.

The lobby occupies a double-height space. From above, a green, sculptural structure divides the volume into two parts, forming a pair of cylindrical chambers. These spatial volumes are perceived as autonomous architectural forms, filled with soft, descending daylight. Within each chamber, large brass pendant luminaires are suspended, creating focal points for areas of rest and and informal interaction beneath them.

The sculptural green element flows seamlessly through the lobby, linking the reception area with the passage toward the elevator hall to create a unified, coherent spatial composition.

The lobby’s functional program includes a reception desk, multiple seating areas, a mail storage section, the elevator hall, and staff facilities.
