3D Printed guest house

Type: guest house

Location: Tula Obl., Russia
Area: 88 m2
Year: 2024

A project of a single-storey house with an area of 88 m², constructed using 3D printing technology. The house features an expressive curvilinear floor plan, while all walls remain vertical and perpendicular to the base.

The entrance opens into a spacious hallway that includes a bathroom. A bright corridor leads to the main area of the house, which combines the kitchen, dining room, and living room. The dining area is set within a flowing bay, an element made possible by 3D printing technology. The living room opens seamlessly onto the terrace. Two bedrooms are positioned symmetrically and separated by a large bathroom.

The roof is single-pitched and finished with metal cladding. The supporting wall of the porch and the structural belt of the roof are constructed from concrete with a plaster finish. Such contrast of textures emphasizes the sculptural features of the volume.
